Clinical Supervision
Steven is an approved Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) supervisor in California and North Carolina. He can provide clinical supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers who wish to obtain their LCSW credential. Supervision is available in group and individual formats. When face-to-face consultation is impractical, remote methods such video-conferencing and telephone can be used.
Special Education Advocacy
Steven will help you gain awareness of beliefs and modes of thinking about yourself that interfere with reaching higher levels of success in your career and relationships. Steven will help you develop a roadmap toward goals and objectives that have eluded your grasp. Although unexpected life events may take you off-course, Steven will be there to orient you back to your larger goals and purpose.
New Hire Screening
Hiring the best candidate for a leadership position is crucial to the success of your organization. Avoiding mistakes in hiring are not only crucial in regard to operational performance, it also ensures a positive public image for your organization. Steven can assist the hiring committee in objectively assessing the applicant’s judgment, temperament, integrity, and interpersonal skills. The purpose of this service is to help employers determine if a candidate under consideration is free from any emotional or mental conditions that might impact his or her ability to meet the demands of the position.
The Approach
Steven will be in the room as part of the interview team with the candidate. After the interview is completed, he will provide his observations of the candidate. Prior to the interview Steven can provide suggestions for the use of personality inventories and further psychological testing if necessary. For an additional charge, a personal reliability screening can be completed by a veteran law enforcement official, which upon request can include the following: criminal history, financial history and additional investigation if requested.
